Student Wellbeing and Engagement

Our school aims to promote high student engagement, attendance and positive behaviours by providing a safe and supportive learning environment. Students participate in a range of engaging programs that aim to develop their educational, social, behavioural, physical and emotional wellbeing.

School staff take responsibility for ensuring student's wellbeing in partnership with parents and carers. Each Learning Hub Leader is allocated additional release time to help address and support the individual needs of students in their area.

STUDENT LEADERSHIP - Junior Advisory Group
In 2012 our first student leadership team has been elected to provide students with more opportunity to be consulted and have a voice in school decision-making, fundraise for selected charities and have fun.

Student leaders have been selected to represent all students and they are Matariki, Tyler, Grace, Maggie, Erik and Nathan. They will be presented with a special JAG badge shortly.
